Seattle Space Needle Charm
Written by Kevin Crane
The Seattle Space Needle is the iconic observation tower in Seattle, Washington, USA. It is a landmark of the Pacific Northwest and a landmark in Seattle. It was built in the Seattle Center for the 1962 World's Fair, which drew over 2.3 million visitors. Nearly 20,000 people a day used its elevators during the event. The Space needle houses a rotating restaurant as well as 360 degree observation deck.
In 2017 The Space Needle was partially closed to renovate. The observation deck saw the wire fencing replaced with floor to ceiling windows and the restaurants floor was replaced with all glass flooring. This project was completed in 2018.
Here at Crane Jewelers in Seattle we make these Space Needle charms. They are made in 14 Karat and 18 karat yellow gold and are prized by visitors from all over the word.
